Despite this picture in the 19th and 20th was labelled as Catherine Howard some scholars would disagree and state that the portrait is of a member of the Seymour Family more likely Elizabeth. Until the 19th century there were no known authenticated images of Catherine Howard the 5th of Henry VIII's wives. And with new research it seems that this painting isnt an image of Catherine Howard. For the purposes of this site I have labelled it with both names and leave it up to the viewer as to who they think it is.
